IN LOVING MEMORY OF
BRETT JOHNSON

On August 22, 2010 a young trucking icon named Brett Johnson (32) of Becker, Minnesota died from injuries he received in a private plane crash.  Brett was the owner and operator of Johnson and Johnson Cartage.  Brett and his wife Erica started the company in 2003 along with his dad Cliff, brother Dustin and a few close friends, traveling mostly from Minnesota to California.  Brett began trucking in 1998, running team with his Dad, hauling freight to Washington and California.  There really isn’t one word good enough to describe Brett except maybe “amazing” - Brett was better described by his actions.  He showed it through being an amazing husband, devoted father, loving son, loyal friend and outstanding businessman.  Brett lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it.  When he wasn’t trucking or spending time with his family, Brett enjoyed riding his motorcycle or flying in one of his beloved airplanes.  Brett will be deeply missed.  His wife and his young son, Aleck, along with several family members and friends, are going to keep Johnson and Johnson Cartage running in memory of Brett.
