IN LOVING MEMORY

A Sad Loss for the 10-4 Family

Henry Guerrero 1978-2008

10-4 Magazine is sad to announce the death of our devoted route driver Henry Guerrero.  Henry delivered magazines in the Inland Empire (Southern CA) and was liked by all who met him.  Henry loved to drive, so doing a distribution route came natural to him.  He would use any excuse to drive!  Back in 2003 he was diagnosed with a blood disease called Aplastic Anemia, which caused him to have a weak immune system, among other things.  He periodically entered the hospital for treatment, got better, and then was back to his old self.  At least that was what we thought.  His wife Ana recently commented that Henry did a good job of pretending to be healthy.  He entered the hospital for treatment on November 1, 2008 but sadly never left.  He and his wife Ana had eloped in Las Vegas in 2001, but both of them always wanted a traditional wedding in a church.  While in the hospital, the staff put together the whole event and the two were married again in the hospital chapel.  Henry was a fighter, and he fought until the end, but after two months of intensive treatments, he let go and passed away on December 22, 2008.  Henry was only 30 years old.  He leaves behind his wife Ana (26) and two young daughters, Evie (4) and Mary (18 months).  Henry Guerrero will be missed by all who knew him.
