DINO GETS HITCHED

Its official - Dino Guadagni, Vice President of Western Distributing Transportation Corp. in Denver, Colorado (and our friend), got married on October 16th. After exchanging their vows at the famed Brown Palace Hotel in Denver, Dino and his bride Marcia flew off to spend a week in Jamaica for their honeymoon. Being a true workaholic, this was the first time Dino had ever taken an entire week off. I’m told the elated couple did a lot of “celebrating” and are quite frankly exhausted! Our congratulations go out to both of them. We wish them all the best for a long and happy marriage. On an unrelated note, shortly after featuring his 1954 KW on our cover/centerfold (August 2004), we received a large package from Dino. In it was an awesome plaque giving tribute to the pictures we took and the fun we had in Colorado. Dino took a copy of the magazine and cut out all the pictures and story, along with the cover and centerfold, arranged them on a beautiful piece of hardwood, and then had it clear-coated. The entire piece measures 21 inches wide by 34 inches tall - and that sucker is heavy. He also attached an engraved plate which reads, “To my pals at 10-4 Magazine, you are the best!! Thanks...and that’s a big 10-4.” What a wonderful gesture - Dino, you’ve got a lot of class. We had a great time with you in Denver and look forward to many more good times in the future. We’re still looking for a “fitting” place to hang the plaque, but rest assured, we’ll find it a nice home where everyone can enjoy it. Thanks again Dino, and congratulations to both you and your new bride!
