NEW “TRUCKER” ARRIVES Clint Moore’s latest creation is not a truck, but a Trucker. That’s right - after months of lobbying for the name “Trucker” for his soon-to-be-born son, Clint’s dream came true. On June 11, 2006, Trucker Owen Moore was born and everyone is doing great. During the negotiations, Clint’s wife Cris told him that if he made it through all of the Lamas classes and the entire delivery without fainting or running scared, that she would consider the name. For those of you who don’t know, Clint is not a big fan of blood, needles or anything related. After almost not making it through the first class, Cris suggested that they find a backup coach just in case. But being determined to be there for his wife, Clint declined. Some of the others in their birthing class joked about getting Clint a helmet so he wouldn’t hurt himself when he fell over. The baby was due on June 23rd, but contractions began early. At 3:00 AM on June 11th, they headed for the hospital and the fun began. “Breathe in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Breathe out 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.” Turns out, Clint actually paid attention in those classes! At 10:53 AM that morning, a healthy baby boy made his debut to the world. Clint said that Cris made it look easy. The happy parents were overwhelmed with emotion and disbelief - after 13 years of trying, their dream of having a family had finally come true. And, believe it or not (Clint has the Birth Certificate to prove it), Cris approved the name Trucker Owen Moore. And if he grows up, becomes a trucker and buys one of his Daddy’s custom rigs, it won’t just be his name - it will be a true statement. Trucker came in with a 20-3/4” wheelbase, a curb weight of 8.3 pounds, 14” extended hood (head) and a kick stand (yep, he’s a boy). Clint’s already thinking about adding another rig to the fleet, but he doesn’t think the name “Trailer” will fly - but hey, it’s worth a try! We’d like to congratulate Cris and Clint on their latest “creation” and wish them all the best. Copyright ©
