MR.
CLEAN PROVES THEM WRONG Clint Moore’s latest creation is a new Peterbilt put together for Matt Kanagy of Belleville, Pennsylvania. The word got out that Clint had a nicely spec’d 312-inch 379 Extended Hood with an ISX 565 Cummins coming in with no buyer. When Matt heard this, he decided to trade in his 1999 Kenworth W900L and step up to a custom-built ride created by the legendary Clint Moore. The first thing they did was contact the factory and change the paint scheme to bright white with a baby blue frame and stripes. After the truck came in, they went to work. Matt wanted a fresh new look, so they added a Bowfish drop visor painted white and then powdercoated the fuel and air tanks, cab lights, mirror brackets, door handles and half fenders white. They also reskinned the doors with no peep hole and flat door sills, added a flush deck plate painted baby blue, six load lights and installed a two-piece rear light bar. They also added 2-inch wide panels to the bottom of the cab and sleeper to give the body a dropped look, hid the hood latches and then installed a pair of white, single square headlights with the blinkers shaved. Clint and his crew also painted Matt’s stainless steel trailer and reefer unit to match the tractor. Matt has always kept his trucks very clean - so clean that many people don’t think he even works them, but that just isn’t true. Nobody in the shop could believe it, but the KW he traded in had 900,000 miles on it and you could eat off any part of it! Because of that, the guys around the shop nicknamed him Mr. Clean. At only 26 years old, this is already Matt’s third truck. Many said that Matt would never make it, but he has proven them all wrong. Pulling refrigerated LTL freight out of Pennsylvania, Matt runs mostly to the southern states. Copyright ©
