My friend Alvin was one of the few truckers that made it around the police blockades to enter downtown Washington D.C. to protest government corruption and abuse of power back in March 2022. If you have seen the documentary about the convoy he is in, produced by Claire Dooley, you probably noticed how he always stayed cool, calm, and collected – even when his truck was towed, and we were all threatened to be arrested. I asked him if he ever was afraid. “No. Since I have Jesus, I have no fear,” was Alvin’s response. That’s God’s promise. Isaiah 41:10 says: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Furthermore, Jeremiah 42:11 says: Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, whom you now fear. Do not be afraid of him, declares the LORD, for I am with you and will save you and deliver you from his hands. Fear not my friends, because if the LORD is for you, who can be against you? I encourage you to look up this documentary (Between Peace and War) and watch it – it is good!
