Big Thanks to Greg Pickering and His Son Brodie
“I was in such bad shape the other night I couldn’t tell a loaded trailer from an empty one! But when I ran into Greg Pickering, things changed a lot. He front-doored me to our next pickup – what a ride. He let me check in first, even though he was there first. Then, while I was backing up, he jumped out and opened my doors while I rolled. We were under those hot loads where every minute counts. I made it all right. I drove away with the picture of Greg emerging from a white cloud (reefer at negative 10 degrees) in my passenger mirror. If you are trucking, you know how kind truckers are. But this was more than kindness – this was putting others first and serving them – like Jesus would do. And all this while his son Brodie (11) was there and watching his dad. And then, he barely made it himself! What a guy!! Thank you, man. Your attitude is a testimony that “The Spirit of the American Trucker” is alive and well with at least some of us still out here.” ~ Art Czajkowski
