Polish Highlanders are shaped by the land they came from: proud, independent, hardy and self-reliant. But they also learned to help one another to survive and prosper. Andy Styrczula is 41 now with 4 million miles already driven in the US, and he is one of the safest, most professional meat-haulers in Chicago you will ever meet. Never late, he is always there to help with another load, week after week. He loves his Chicago-California and back runs because there are mountains and, hopefully (he says), snow. Recently, he helped to create an elite group of proud Polish truckers from Chicago area – guys with clean, sharp trucks and mostly stainless reefers, called “Konserwatysci” (meaning Conservatives) in order to turn the typical Chi-Town’s immigrant trucker stereotype into something better. When people work this hard, they can afford a bit of chrome, which is all it takes to start a new trend. And, thankfully, this trend is being started by a God-fearing, country-loving bunch of hard workers, for a change!

Got his work cut out for him then, huh?
