Paul Pangburn, an engineer at JPL Laboratories in Pasadena, California (and also the brother of Frank Pangburn, the Race Director and Producer of the Truckin’ For Kids charity truck show in California) has retired after 40 years of hard work. Paul served proudly in Korea, and after returning went to work at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Paul and his amazing team at JPL were responsible for the Mars Lander, the Hubble Telescope, and many other projects. His career has spanned over 60 years. He is also the chief “cook and bottle washer” for the Truckin’ For Kids volunteers at their annual show. Paul and his wife Cheryl, along with their dedicated team of helpers, are responsible for all of the good food served to their volunteers.
After more than 20 years of hard work and faithful service, Bill Cunningham is retiring from the Truck-Lite Corporation, where he served as a Senior Regional Manager representing most of California, northern Nevada and Hawaii. Bill, along with Truck-Lite, has also been a longtime supporter and sponsor (20 years) of the Truckin’ For Kids charity truck show. Born in Santa Monica, California, Bill has spent most of his life in southern California working in both the automotive and trucking industries. Bill and his wife Helen, who have been married for 49 years, will continue working with Truckin’ For Kids as their official full time “Mr. Ambassador” – a title affectionately given to him for his unending service and dedication to their organization.
