The Spirit of the American Trucker – August 2013

Last month we featured legendary trucker Dennis Mitchell of Blissfield, Michigan and his ongoing “mission” to save the true American Trucker from extinction. This month, we see Dennis’ efforts are already working, with this cool shot of his son’s amazing ride. Steve Mitchell, at only 27 years old, recently built this Pete 359 and became an owner operator – proving that the fruit does not fall far from the tree. Seen here gettin’ on it, Steve is hoping to see many of you at the CONVOY he and his dad are organizing on September 12 in Grayling, MI in hopes of bringing the trucking community together and raising awareness as to how important (and honorable) the profession of truck-driving really is.
