California’s Central Valley, often referred to as the breadbasket of the world, is the fifth largest supplier of food and agricultural commodities in the world. Although the poorest part of the state, California’s Central Valley is populated by tough, hardworking farmers and truckers who demand quality equipment that lasts. I met Freddy Rivera when he was showing his son how to fuel the truck right – exactly the way his father had taught him back in the 1970’s. Today, the Rivera family business includes four generations, but they still use one of the same Peterbilts they bought new in 1965!
